Saunter with Your Martini on Juneteenth

Today is Juneteenth, National Martini Day, and World Sauntering Day. In our nation's history, Juneteenth is a special day because is commemorates the day that slavery was abolished, and it is THE day that Union soldiers rode into Galveston, Texas with Major General Gordon Granger and announced the war had ended and the slaves were then freed. Here is the Holiday Hero and our friend Billy remembering Juneteenth.

Remember and enjoy!

We're not particularly fond in our house of martinis, but we do have the directions for making several types of "classic" drinks including the martini. Today is your day to be like James Bond and ask for your extra dry martini "shaken, not stirred."
Where's the chocolate part? LOL

Finally, it is the day to show off your best saunter (sassy walk) in the most classic way! Here's your Hero showing off his best moves:
SASSY!

Enjoy the up-to-date post! See you tomorrow holiday-teers!
Celebration Sensation, out.
