Telling Lies about Walking with Stuffed Chicken

Greetings and Salutations my fellow holiday-eers! Today we have four delightfully engaging and thoroughly delicious holidays to serve up for your celebratory enlightenment! First, today is National Walking Day. This most active of days was started by the American Heart Association in order to get America healthy and fit again in a world where working in a cubicle for the better part of your life is the norm. They encourage you to have your entire office (or whatever employment scenario you engage in) wear sneakers to work and take 30 minutes out of your day to go walk around. They even have a toolkit here: http://www.startwalkingnow.org/about_start_walking_day.jsp. So get off your lazy bum and go for a walk!

Secondly, it is National Cordon Bleu Day. For this tasty celebration, simply partake in the wonder that is a chicken stuffed with ham and cheese. I'm pretty sure it will undo all of the positivity you just gained from walking around the office today, but, hey, we gotta live a little, right? We, that is the Holiday Hero and I, will not eat this delicacy because of the ham. However, I'm sure we will find a wondrous way to celebrate and you'll be a part!

Thirdly, it is Vitamin C Day. Everyone knows that a part of a healthy diet is the inclusion of plenty of Vitamin C. Today is your chance to celebrate the discovery of Vitamin C in 1932 as well as to get back on the Vit. C horse with a tall glass of OJ or other Vitamin C-rich drink/food. If you're not one for juice, try Vitamin C drops. They are tasty and helpful for a sore throat! Enjoy!

Finally, I would like to tell you that I am currently on my way to Alaska to do an in-depth study of the great Cordova Ice Worm. Yep, I am departing ABQ and beginning a new que...ok, even I can't keep that one up! Today is National Tell-a-Lie Day. So, go live it up! Tell lies, be deceitful, and be mysterious. Just take my advice, and be nice about it. Big, bad, mean lies can be quite ruinous to a relationship, so be careful! Also, here are a few tips for detecting the untruths of a liar: 1. watch out for scratching or itching of the nose/face, 2. be aware of eye contact, 3. profuse sweating, and 4. darting eye movements. Keep these in mind and you'll never go awry! Hope you have a great time with these quirky, delectable holidays! Cheers.

Celebration Sensation, out.
