Were you bored today or any day this month? I certainly hope not since this month is an especially important month to stay busy and refrain from boredom. It is Anti-Boredom Month, and your Holiday Team is observing it today. So, in order to keep boredom from creeping in, we continually had things to do, people to see, and important adventures to have. Between cleaning the house, watching movies, and caring for the dogs, we were able to occupy our morning and afternoon. Then your Holiday Hero had a gig with our good friend Erik as the musical duo The April Decca followed by a few other local bands. Afterward, it was time to visit The Tan gallery as well as Small Engine (next to each other) for the opening of two art shows which were both quite impressive. Once we returned home, it was movie time! Since horror is our favorite genre, we opted to check out Hostel Part III.
Altogether, I would say that it was quite an active, non-boring day!
Also on the docket for today, we had National Share a Sunset with Your Lover Month observance as well as World Kiss Day. In my mind, these two work pretty well together! We shared plenty of kisses, and even our dogs were getting in on the kissy-faces!
